I have recently discovered that the European Patent Office (EPO) has most of the prosecution documents generated in the the review of an European patent application available to the public. The process to obtain the documents linked to your (or a competitor) application is simple...follow the link to the Register Plus section of the EPO website, add your application number, publication number or PCT application number.
The first panel will provide the application information. For the prosecution documents, click on "ALL DOCUMENTS" in the small box on the left hand side of the screen. Download the documents you are interested in and it is all FREE! *
